Thunderbolt-IMA bag President's Cup

Thunderbolt-IMA won the President''s Cup, the most prestigious cup in the ongoing Windlass Polo Season being conducted at the IMA''s Tons Polo ground.
It defeated Windlass-Army in a closely contested final held on April 12. The score being 8-6. However it was Windlass-Army, which scored the opening goal in the six chukker final.
Thereafter, it was The winning team which dominated play in the first four chukkers.Windlass-Army tried to stage a comeback in the last two chukkers but by then it was too late. For the winning team, the main scorers
were Udai Kalaan and Sameer. For the losers, the main scorers were Shamsher Ali and Captain Navjeet Sandhu. Both teams started off with a handicap of 18 apiece. The umpires for the match were Dhruv Pal Godara and Jai Shergill. Major Atul Gupta was the referee.
Prizes to the members of the winning team were presented by the chief guest for the finals, Arvind Singh of Mewar. The audience was also entertained by a display of the army bands after the match. Thereafter, horse riders enthralled the audience with their dare devil acts.
